Pilar is an ambient table light, and can be placed on any suitable flat surface, as it doesn’t need an electrical outlet to work. This allows the light-source to follow the user as needed. The lamp shade diffuses the light in a way so it is comfortable for people within in the space.

The lampshade attaches with a half turn lock system, which makes it easy to take the rechargable lightbuld out and put it back into place, without touching the paper.

I entered into the design competition ANSA Juvenarte with Pilar this fall.
