Zinc
Zinc Interior Architects was founded in 2000 as a subsidiary of DARK Architects. It was created in response to the growing need for specialized interior architectural expertise during Telenor’s landmark project at Fornebu, the financial district just outside Oslo. This significant project showcased the importance of interior architects in crafting cohesive and functional spaces, and over the years, Zinc has grown substantially, evolving into one of Norway’s leading firms in the industry.
Operating across both the private and public sectors, Zinc specializes in large-scale projects that include corporate offices, educational environments, and hospitality spaces
Zinc is part of Dark Design Group (DDG), which is an architectural and design house that also includes DARK Architects and LARK Landscape Architects.
Today, Zinc is supported by a highly skilled, interdisciplinary team of almost 40 employees. While the majority of them are interior architects, the team also includes industrial designers, graphic designers, furniture designers, and strategic designers. This diversity enables Zinc to offer a wide range of services, ensuring every project is approached with the necessary competance.
